Marble Software is the home of the Marbles Collection, a selection of applications and tools for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. The Marbles Collection contains tools for data extraction, regular expressions, text encoding and decoding as well as GUI-wrappers for the useful but sometimes hard-to-use command line tools available on Mac OS or Linux.

Tune Buster Home Edition is ready and available for download. A full featured keyboard synthesizer, Tune Buster Home Edition is shareware and builds on the success of the free Tune Buster for OS X.

New Charco version 0.8.1 beta. Added logging for the batch mode. When the batch finishes or is terminated, a text document will open with the complete log of the actions performed by the batch run.

The fourth Marble is a Keyboard Synthesizer, called Tune Buster. Tune Buster is a simple and very effective utility that turns your keyboard into a complete instrument that plays through your Mac. Tune Buster needs no setup or configuration, plug in a musical (USB) keyboard, and play straight away.

The latest release for Charco has just been uploaded. Based on user input, Charco has been updated to include additional Chinese encodings, drag-n-drop on all platforms, and a batch mode for processing large amounts of files. The second Marble is the Character Set Conversion Utility, Charco for short. Charco enables the recoding of text into different encodings, for example from UTF-8 to US_ASCII. Charco supports the most common character encodings found on Windows, Mac and Linux and includes a full complement of UTF encodings.

The Marbles Collection Support Forum has been opened. This is the place to post questions, feedback and support requests.

The first Marble published is the Data Extractor, or Datex for short. Datex is a data extraction tool that puts the power of regular expressions at you disposal. Datex supports Perl-style regular expressions and is my tool of choice for extracting data from text files and web pages. The current version is  a public beta; some issues may be found. If you do, please report them to the forum.
